The purpose of this privacy policy (hereinafter the "Policy") is to explain and describe how we collect, use and disclose your personal information, when applicable. This Policy is designed to comply with Canadian federal and provincial privacy laws.

Collection of your personal information
SuperBird only collects the personal information that is necessary for the purposes of establishing, managing and maintaining our relationship with you.
For example, in a non-limitative way, the following personal information may be collected : your first and last name, your gender, your date of birth, your complete home address, your phone number, your email address, your banking information and your Internet Protocol address (commonly known as "IP address"). SuperBird may collect any other personal information necessary for us to provide our services to you, including through the Websites or when you interact with a SuperBird employee by email, telephone or in person.
Non-personally identifiable information such as your purchase history, work experience, education, employment status, or communication preferences may also be collected to enable us to provide you with personalized services.

- contact you, in accordance with public health guidelines, if you have visited one of our branches and we are informed that another individual present at the same time in one of our branches was contaminated with COVID-19;

- communicate with you when you submit questions, comments, prayer requests or suggestions;

Your use of the Websites allows SuperBird to automatically compile certain information about your user profile, which may include the Internet Protocol address (or IP address) of your computer, your geolocation area, the operating system you are using, your language preference, the identity of your Internet Service Provider, the date and time you access this website, the previous website you visited that provided you with a link to our Websites, and the content viewed and downloaded from our site or the number of visits.
To do this, our Websites, like most websites, use cookies, which are small data files that are stored on your computer when you visit. SuperBird uses this information to tailor the Websites to your preferences and to compile statistics about the viewing and use of the Websites in order to improve it.
SuperBird may use third party service providers such as Google and Facebook for ad retargeting purposes. SuperBird may also use web beacons to enable our third-party tracking tools, such as Google Analytics, to collect personal information about you. Disclosure of Your Personal Information:
A) to third parties in Quebec
SuperBird recognizes that, except in the case and under the conditions described in this Policy or as permitted by law, the disclosure of your personal information to third parties requires your consent.
Access to your personal information within SuperBird does not require your consent but is strictly limited to the persons for whom the information is necessary for the performance of their functions and duties.
SuperBird may share your personal information, without your consent, with agents, service providers or consultants who need the information to conduct SuperBird's business or to help SuperBird administer its Websites. Such agents, service providers and consultants will warrant by contract that they will use the personal information provided to them only to perform specific services and will keep it confidential in accordance with this Policy.
SuperBird may also, without your consent, disclose your personal information to third parties where permitted or required by law, for example, to prevent fraud or serious physical harm to any person. Whenever SuperBird is required to disclose your personal information, we will endeavour not to disclose more information than is required under the circumstances.

SuperBird does not generally share your personal information for hosting or data processing purposes outside your country of residence. However, SuperBird may occasionally disclose information outside of the province in which you normally reside (to another province or outside of Canada) in the course of performing a service or enterprise contract, for example, for hosting or data processing. You consent to the transfer of your personal information to provinces and countries other than your place of residence, or the privacy rules may be different from those applicable in your place of residence.

It is your responsibility, if you create an account on our Websites, to keep your password confidential and to change it regularly.

Requests for access and rectification

You have the right to request access to your personal information held by SuperBird.
We will provide you with your personal information, when collected electronically, in a structured, commonly used technological format. You may also request that your personal information be corrected if it is inaccurate, incomplete or misleading, or if its collection, disclosure or retention is not permitted by law.
SuperBird will respond to any request for access or correction within 30 days of the date of receipt of the written request. In the event of a refusal to provide or correct information, SuperBird will provide you with the reasons for its refusal and the sections of the applicable law that support its refusal, subject to the limitations of the law, and we will inform you of your recourse.
If SuberBird refuses to correct your personal information, we will allow you to make written representations to us regarding the personal information that has been refused correction. SuperBird will also retain the personal information that was the subject of an access request for as long as necessary to allow you to exhaust any recourse provided by law.
